Why use a travel advisor?
Why would I want to work with a travel advisor?
Travel Advisors or "Agents" help you by using their expertise and resources to find the right vacation for you. The biggest value when booking with a travel advisor is that they are able to manage all the components of travel booked through them on your behalf. This means that instead of having to talk to multiple different people at a cruise line, airline, hotel and transfer service, you can call one person, your travel advisor. This also means you don’t have to do the research. On average, from start to finish, people spend almost 23 hours planning and booking vacations. Your time has value too!
Won’t I pay more money if I book with a travel advisor?
Most likely not! And in some cases travel advisors can save you money. Commission is almost always already built into the cost of travel, no matter who you book through. The commission just goes to whoever books your travel. So if you book through a third party service, they get the commission, if you book directly with a supplier, the supplier pays their employees with it. When comparing apples to apples, the cost of travel should not be more expensive with a travel advisor.
